Ordinary carbon steel is the most commonly used basic material for axial flow fans, offering high cost-effectiveness, stable structural strength, and suitability for most conventional ventilation scenarios. Carbon steel has sufficient hardness, strong resistance to mechanical impact, and is easy to process and form, meeting the ventilation, heat dissipation, and exhaust needs of factories, warehouses, and ordinary buildings, both indoors and outdoors. After anti-rust painting, it can effectively resist daily air oxidation and slight humid environment corrosion, ensuring a stable service life. Fans made of this material have moderate weight, are easy to install and maintain, and are the preferred choice for general ventilation projects without special corrosive or high-temperature conditions, making it the mainstream material for industrial and civil ventilation equipment.
Stainless steel axial flow fans possess excellent corrosion resistance, rust prevention, and oxidation resistance, and are often used in special conditions involving humid, high-moisture, and slightly corrosive media. Compared to ordinary carbon steel, stainless steel requires less frequent rust prevention maintenance. In humid and condensation-prone environments such as basements, bathhouses, seafood processing plants, and lightly polluted chemical sites, it will not easily rust or corrode, resulting in greater overall durability. Meanwhile, the material has a smooth surface, is not prone to dust accumulation, has low operating resistance, and exhibits slow airflow decay over long-term use, making it suitable for ventilation scenarios requiring certain weather resistance and cleanliness.
Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) is a special axial flow fan material, characterized by high-strength corrosion resistance and acid and alkali resistance, specifically designed for heavily corrosive environments such as chemical processing, electroplating, pickling, and waste gas treatment. This material is integrally insulating, rust-free, and extremely corrosion-resistant, capable of withstanding the erosion of acidic and alkaline waste gases and corrosive moisture for extended periods without issues such as metal corrosion, perforation, or damage. The unit is lightweight, operates with low noise, and has excellent anti-aging properties. In harsh, highly corrosive environments, its service life far exceeds that of ordinary metal fans, making it the preferred material for industrial corrosion-resistant ventilation and waste gas transport applications.
